Explain your platform and why you should be elected:
A strong Minnesota must have a vibrant private sector economy that offers opportunities for all Minnesotans to find good paying jobs, and an educated and skilled workforce ready to seize these opportunities. I believe we can best support the formation of small businesses and the jobs they create by reducing tax and regulatory burdens that stifle this activity. Student-centered reforms to ensure each child is educated to their full potential and our education dollars are achieving high quality results are top priorities for me. My platform is simple — responsible governing that honors our priorities and measures for results, so taxpayers only support essential programs that work.

I have a passion for serving our community, and demonstrated the ability to get things done that matter locally and for all of Minnesota in the six years I have been privileged to represent Eden Prairie. I have authored and passed legislation that eliminated outdated regulations and spurred job growth, repealed ill-conceived business-to-business taxes, and increased opportunities for quality early childhood education. It would be an honor to continue working hard every day to listen to our community’s diverse viewpoints, and make government more effective and less expensive for the citizens of our state.
