Rep. Jenifer Loon (R-42B) will be available to meet with constituents from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, at the State Fair.
Loon will be one of more than 40 state representatives that will be available to answer questions and meet with the public at the House of Representatives booth, according to a news release.
Loon said it has been a longstanding House tradition that members make themselves available at the Great Minnesota Get-Together.
“I look forward to meeting with Eden Prairie residents on Sunday and having them share their legislative thoughts and opinions,” Loon said in the release.
The House of Representatives exhibit is in the northeast corner of the Education Building on Cosgrove Street just north of Dan Patch Avenue.
Besides visiting with lawmakers, fairgoers can let their opinion be known on a number of state issues by voting in the annual State Fair Poll. This year’s questions cover such topics as funding for a Vikings’ stadium, unallotment, medical marijuana, early voting and budget cuts versus tax increases.
